I, Sgt. G.E. Dick Parsons, PFC to CPL then,served in the Marine Communications Detachment aboard the USS ESTES from Jan 1, 1957 to July 1958. During that time I stood radio watch in radio central, knowing lots of you sailors aboard at that time. I also spent time on the bridge learning flashing light and semaphore from you sailors.
