I just received a letter from BUPERS that Estes DID participate in Amphibious Ready Group from Jan. 6-16 1967 and was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation. I am awaiting the formal update to my DD 214,and have an address for that. It is:
Navy Personnel Command

Millington TN 38055-3120.

There is "a tremendous backlog", so I will await that update. Please feel free to forward this info to anyone interested.
