Lee P. Day CS-2 1966-1967 - S-1 - Submitted 9/15/11
Hello,
I found your information on the USS Estes Association Page. My father-in-law,
Lee P. Day, was on the 1966 cruise. He was in the S-1 Division as a
cook. He passed away in 1976. My husband was only 12 at the time.
He didn't get the opportunity to hear about his dad's adventures so any contact with people who knew him would be wonderful.
He would
love to know more about his dad and his time spent in the Navy. I am trying
to locate anyone who may have known him and could share information,
or pictures. I have just started my search but have already made
contact with one person who does remember him.
Would appreciate any info you might have.
