Did anyone know George Howell who serves on USS Estes when she was docked in Victoria, B.C. in July, 1958? He was 33 yrs. old then.
I was born and lived in Victoria, British Columbia. I was 17 when the Estes was docked in the outer docks in Victoria (Ogden Point).I met George Howell at the street dance in downtown Victoria, July 12th, 1958.
We wrote each other for quite a few months, then all communication ended.
